How do I unlock/re-lock my private photos?

Unlocking and re-locking private photos for a user is slightly different depending on how you’re accessing Adam4Adam. To unlock/re-lock your private photos, follow the directions below for the device you’re using.

Unlock/relock private photos from your computer

You can unlock your private photos to another user simply by going on his profile. Under his profile photo on the left-hand side, you will see a series of orange buttons, click on Unlock Private Photos to unlock your private photos.

You can re-lock your private photos at any time, by clicking on that same button now called Re-lock Private Photos. Take note that you can re-lock your private photos to all users you gave access to, by clicking the button Re-lock All in your Manage Photos page, in the Private Photos section.

You can also ask a user to unlock his private photos for you. Under his profile photo on the left-hand side, select the button Request Private Photo Access. A message will be sent to the user and he will be able to give you access or not, if he is not interested in sharing them with you.

Unlock/re-lock private photos from the Android or iOS app

To unlock your private photos while using the Adam4Adam Android or iOS app, first visit the profile of the person you’d like to unlock your photos to. Next, tap MORE right under the star icon (favorite) located on the right-hand side of his profile. Then, select Unlock Private Photos to unlock your private photos. You can re-lock your private photos at any time by clicking on that same button now called Re-lock Private Photos.

Take note that you can re-lock private photos to all users you gave access to by tapping on your profile. On the left side of your profile photo, tap the Edit button. On the next screen, tap the gear icon located on the top right corner to access your settings. Scroll down to the bottom and tap Re-lock All Private Photos and confirm your choice.

You can also request access to a member’s private photo by clicking the button Request Access directly on the locked photo of a user.
