What is a smile and how can I send one?

Sending a smile to someone is a fun way to let him know you’re into him. Whether you find him sexy or would like to know if he is into you to, it is just a courteous way to initiate a conversation.

Sending a smile to a member is slightly different depending on how you’re accessing Adam4Adam. To send a smile to a member, follow the directions for the device you’re using below.

Send a smile to someone from your computer

You can send a smile to a user by going on his profile. Under his profile photo on the left-hand side, you will see a series of orange buttons. Click on the Send a Smile button. A message will be sent to that user saying that you sent him a smile. He can return a smile or simply delete it.

To return a smile or delete a smile from someone who sent you one, click on My Account on the top menu, then Lists in the black bar menu and then Smiles. You will see all the smiles you received. Simply click Return Smile to send him back a smile or Delete to erase it.

To stop receiving smiles, click on My Account, then scroll down to Other and select Notification Settings. On that page, uncheck the box Allow other users to send me smiles.

Send a smile to someone from the Android or iOS app

You can send a smile to a user by going on his profile. On the right-hand side of his profile photo you will notice a happy face (send a smile icon), simply click on it and confirm that you want to send a smile to this user. A message will be sent to that user saying that you sent a smile.
